<p>Ugly People Having Sex is a collection of short stories. An early 20th century southern town turns upside down when they try to make amends with their oppressed. A hurricane forces the collision of two types of people better kept apart. An octogenarian Don Juan escapes a nursing home for a chance at redemption. Each tale explores aspects of our society most make every effort to ignore--the abused, the disadvantaged, and our very selves.</p>
