This study will investigate the mental health challenges of older adults who reside within an assisted and independent living community by comparing self-reported indicators of depression with their marital status, gender, and education level. This study will also determine whether or not there is a correlation between depressive symptoms reported by these older adults and their marital status, gender, and education level.
