Abstract
The largest shortage in nursing lies in Nursing Education. The proposed program is an Advanced Certificate in Nursing Education. The program's purpose is to prepare mastered prepared nursing educators to work in both institution of higher learning and health care. The content of this program will include learning and teaching theories and applications for face-to-face, hybrid and asynchronous teaching and learning, as well as simulation, laboratory and clinical venues. This program will incorporate two courses through EDI. Students may the elect to complete the additional two courses in EDI that will allow for a certificate in Instructional Design.
