Abstract
A study was performed to determine how educated people are about ticks and the bacteria they can transmit that causes Lyme Disease. A survey was created that consisted of ten common misconceptions about ticks and Lyme Disease and was given to and completed by a lecture of 70 BIO 118 students at SUNY Broome Community College.
