Abstract

The use of peer mentoring programs on college campuses are designed to help students transition and adapt to college life and form connections with other students. The aim of this study was to explore the opinions and attitudes of individuals, who were peer mentors at The College at Brockport, State University of New York (SUNY). The qualitative study design revealed satisfaction with the peer mentoring process, specifically relative to connection, involvement and communication. Eleven students, who were peer mentors for the LAUNCH program at The College at Brockport, SUNY, participated.
