Abstract
Whereas: 1. The Faculty Senate is constitutionally mandated to hold a Faculty-at-Large meeting each semester and 2. Two significant issues to the faculty/staff - General Education revisions and implementation of Strategic Planning II will not be ready for presentation until spring 2003, and 3. Faculty Senate Article 13, #2 (page 12) states that “...provisions of these Bylaws may be disregarded on recommendation of the Executive Committee and two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Senate. Such variance shall not set precedence and shall be limited to the specific exigency,” and as a result the 4. Faculty Senate Executive Committee has approved the following resolution.
