Abstract
Description
The photo illustrates the observation of neuritogenesis under confocal microscopy of a neural cell culture in the presence of 10% fetal calf serum. The microtubules are represented in red, actin microfilaments in green, and neuron nuclei in blue. Neuritogenesis is the study of neurite growth, which are the dendrites and axons, essential structures for transmitting a nerve message within a neuron.
