Abstract
This zine recounts the lived experiences of three university students at George Washington University -- Jessica Crowell, Erin Devine, and Pia (Varma) Rayner -- who witnessed the terrorist attacks on 9-11-2001 in Washington, D.C. This zine traces connections between this historical event and the experiences of SUNY New Paltz students during the Covid-19 crisis in Spring 2020.
Description
Jessica Crowell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Digital Media & Journalism at SUNY New Paltz. This zine was also created as part of a course assignment in DMJ 432 (The Impacts of TV and Digital Culture) entitled "Media in a Time of Crisis".
