Abstract
The development of web based GIS course modules for science and social science courses will facilitate the incorporation of GIS, GPS and Remote Sensing technology and techniques into non-GIS courses; ideally 100 or 200 level courses. The modules will cover one lecture or be a homework assignment. GIS modules will be customized to fit course syllabi and goals. The goal of these modules will be to introduce students to GIS technology and the benefits of the technology to their discipline. Students will learn how to think spatially, ask spatially related questions and look for answers with a spatial component.
