Abstract
Whereas, representatives from System Administration have been meeting with representatives of the teaching faculty to discuss the assessment of the “building blocks of general education,” and Whereas, those discussions resulted in the document, “Strengthened Campus-Based Assessment,” and Whereas, that proposal is consistent with SUNY Brockport’s long-standing and on-going commitment to the assessment of student learning outcomes, Therefore, be it resolved that we, the members of the Faculty Senate, endorse “Strengthened Campus-Based Assessment.”
