Abstract
Description
The monuments carved into the cliffs 500 BC were created hundreds of feet high with hammer and chisel. The artisans of these amazing structures had no power tools. They worked together on scaffoldings braced against the the cliffs, one above the others. The length of time each took to carve each (tomb) is unknown but greatly admired.
