Abstract
The Bachelor's in Liberal Studies needs to be updated to reflect current college needs and limitations. We propose a string interdisciplinary major with an updated name and mission. The proposed Bachelor's in Integrative Studies seeks to attract new students to Brockport by offering students to Brockport by offering students the opportunity to tailor their programmatic focus in light of their personal and career goals. The program requires a sequenced and rigorous core of interdisciplinary studies that promote competencies highly valued by employers.
