Abstract

This proposal seeks to revise the existing Spanish major and minor in order to provide two tracks: one with a concentration in literature and civilization, currently in effect, and a new track with a concentration in Bilingual Multicultural Studies. This proposal contains the rationale, objectives of the program, a comparison to the existing program, and the plan for implementation, including course offerings, library resources, staffing and other needs, recruitment, selection and advisement of students and the administration of the program.
