Abstract
The existing policy is updated to increase flexibility for faculty in supporting students who may miss class for personal or other reasons. The proposal also suggests eliminating the "Attendance Appeal Process", referring students to the Grade Appeal Process" in situations in which an unfair application of the attendance policy has resulted in a negatvie to their course grade.
