from the conclusion, "Streamlining the bathymetry in a deepened compartment of Ambrose Channel; can prevent separation of the flow and allow the tidal currents to remain sufficiently high to prevent the formation of mud deposits. A buffer zone 490 feet wide is recommended. . ."
