Abstract
Description
The Charpy Impact Test measures the toughness of a material under a given load. This test allows the estimation of the amount of energy absorbed before the material fails or deforms. These are two samples of cold-worked ASTM Steel under different loading conditions. Testing performed by Dr. Sushma Madduri in the Materials Science for Technologists course.
