As leaders of faculty, administrative, and trustee governance organizations for the State University of New York (SUNY), we urge you to vote NO on the so- called “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (or federal budget reconciliation “megabill”) in its entirety. This sweeping legislation is deeply flawed—and nowhere more dangerous than in its higher education provisions.
