Abstract

This is an 18 credit Minor, for students who do not desire the clinical Major program, but rather desire background knowledge in substance abuse studies. Any student enrolled in the College is eligible to take the Minor. The Minor consists of 3 core required courses (9 cr.), HCS 409 (pre or co-requisite for all other ASAP courses), HCS 423, and HCS 424. Students choose the remaining 9 credits from a list of elective options provided that includes HCS 437, HLS 445, HCS 455, HCS 439, & HCS 440. Students must achieve a "C" or better in each ASAP course. All courses are 3 credits, and unless designated otherwise, are offered both fall and spring semesters.
