Tim and Rebekah Thorick, operators of Original Italian Pizza, and several helpers, waded through flooding on Upper Front Street to cook dozens of pizzas for local rescue workers. They carried the pizzas out through thigh-deep water and delivered it to nearby volunteer fire departments, which were running 24-hour operations because of the flooding.
