Abstract
Description
The goal of the completed project is to assemble a set of construction plans, specifications and estimate/schedule for the provided project and location. The project site is located at the intersection of South Jay Street and Henry Street in the city of Rome, New York. This site was previously the location of the Rome Cable, Bare wire facility which has since been demolished and removed with the exception of the Rome Cable Tower, no subsurface environmental hazards are believed to exist. The proposed project to be constructed is a 24-hour outpatient and surgical center, the structure will be a two story building with onsite parking for employees and patients. The site must follow all the codes set by the city of Rome, the New York State building code and the Oneida County building code. Additionally all utilities should connect to city facilities and a TIS (traffic impact study) should be conducted on the intersection nearest to the site and State Route 46, this is the intersection of South Madison Street and Erie Boulevard.
