Abstract
During the department's Periodic Program Review, external reviewers recommended changing the name of the department to reflect the large and growing program in music as a way of acknowledging the program as well as increasing its visibility. The department having included this suggestion as a part of its Joint Action Plan, has researched possible titles and elected to change the name of the department to Department of Theatre and Music Studies.
