Abstract
This proposal seeks to revise the current MSEd in Elementary Education in the following ways: replace the 12 credits of curriculum concentration course work and one three-credit thesis course with 12 credits of discipline specific pedagogical course work, three credits of which are a capstone course.; replace nine credits of electives with nine credits of course work in either STEM Education or Humanities Education; and replace one three-credit research course with one three-credit elective. The combined changes will reduce the current 33 credit MSEd in Elementary Education to 30 credits. Accepted - Implementation Effective Date: Spring 2014
