Abstract

a) We are proposing to update the current B.S in Childhood Inclusive Education to reflect that HST 411: The New York Experience has been replaced by HST 311: Empire State: The History of New York. No credit changes. (Multidisciplinary Track Only) b) We are further proposing to add alternative options for coursework in the B.S. in Childhood Inclusive Education. Specifically, students may now enroll in EDI 439: Pedagogical Knowledge for Teachers I (3 cr) as an alternative to MTH 113. Similarly, students may enroll in EDI 442: Pedagogical Knowledge for Teacher II (3 cr) as an alternative to MTH 114. (Both Multidisciplinary & Bilingual Tracks) c) We are further proposing that EDI 421 Teaching and Assessing Literacy in ELLs be changed to EDI 4xx Supporting English Language and Multilingual Learners in the Classroom in the B.S. Childhood Inclusive Education Major (Multidisciplinary Track Only).
