Abstract
Each semester, REL majors are required to complete a 15 credit- - four month internship as part of their academic program. Preparation for such experience is loosely structured at present. This proposal is for the addition of a 1 credit course to the REL core curriculum. This course entitled, Professional Preparation, will be a pre-internship seminar. This name change is undertaken to align course titles with verbiage in standards 8.28 and 8.29 of the newest edition of the NRPA/AALR national accreditation standards.
