Abstract
Revises and replaces Senate Resolution #8, 1979-1980 "Principles of Academic Calendar Construction". Specifically, it talks about timing for orientation, advisement, and registration; the timing of Thanksgiving recess; and the the timing of the semester and final examination period for Fall Semester. Similarly, for the Spring Semester, recommendations for beginning of the semester, a spring recess, the semester and final examination period, and a one week longer schedule to compensate for extraordinary weather conditions.
