The Relationship between Academic Advisement and Student Engagement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between student engagement and the quality of advisement received while attending The College at Brockport, SUNY. The results from the 2011 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) were examined in relation to existing literature. Recommendations will be shared.
