In order to better understand foraging behaviors in small stream brook trout populations that inhabit these limited systems, macroinvertebrate community composition within the stream was compared to gut contents of brook trout inhabiting the stream. The objective of this study was to characterize brook trout foraging habits in a unique steppe pool creek setting.
