Abstract
Expand the History major (not the Social Studies [Inclusive] Adolescent Education Majors) by 1 - 3 credits (from 36 to 37-39 credits) to require a letter-graded experiential and/or professional development course. Students will be given the option to further expand and explore their professional options through internships (371, 485), Career Development course (370), Foreign Language beyond 111 level, and Study Abroad. Other options for completing this requirement will be considered through advisement. Consistent with current department guidelines, students must earn at least a "C" in any of the above options.
