Abstract
Recent trends in the use of circuit autologous blood priming, crystalloid containing cardioplegic solutions, and the awareness of acute kidney injury and homologous blood transfusions may have affected the rate of use of hemoconcentrators (HC) during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB). The aim of this study was to identify trends in ultrafiltration (UF) practices across adult and pediatric practicing perfusionists.
