Abstract
Description
This image demonstrates the concepts of capillary action and transpiration. Capillary action occurs when water is pulled up through the cut stems towards the flower. During transpiration, water is evaporated through the leaves and flowers but the green dye that was added to the water stays behind and turns the normally white flowers green.
