Across Front St. from BCC, Tim and Rebekah Thorick, operators of Original Italian Pizza, and several helpers, waded through the water to the dry restaurant to cook and carry out dozens of pizzas and other food for area volunteer fire departments, which were running 24-hour operations in the wake of the disaster.
