Abstract
The Report of the APT Committee Regarding a College-wide Faculty Review Committee on Promotions recommends against the establishment of a committee to assess faculty performance, given the absence of a college-wide statement of expectations. Further, faculty workloads and the measure of scholarly achievement vary across departments and disciplines. Finally, the current collective-bargaining agreement prohibits the introduction of any new college-wide committees to consider reappointment and tenure.
