Abstract

This poster describes the relationship between graduate students’ experiences at the graduate school level and how satisfied they are overall with the quality of their graduate programs. Students’ answers to a number of questions regarding their programs at a public university in New York state are analyzed. Factors being considered are faculty presence, intellectual stimulation of course work, students’ personal challenges such as transportation and finances, and demographic information such as age, gender, and race. Strengths and weaknesses of the graduate programs, as well as areas needing improvement, are topics of the research.
