Whereas the Organization of Students of African Descent (OSAD) has expressed it concerns regarding alleged discriminatory treatment of minority students by college administrators, administrative bodies, and fellow students, Whereas this organization presented its concerns to the Faculty of the Department of Social Work at a faculty meeting on Wednesday, February 20, 1980, Be It Resolved that the Faculty Senate investigate and evaluate the alleged recent discriminatory practices on campus, work toward redressing any actual wrongs which are discovered and take steps for prevention of future threats to racial harmony in the college community.
