Presenters:
Marcie Desrochers, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Psychology at The College at Brockport, teaches undergraduate and graduate psychology students and supervises students and practitioners in the field. She earned her doctoral degree in experimental psychology from the University of Manitoba with specialization in developmental disabilities, applied behavior analysis, and computer applications in psychology. She is a board certified behavior analysis at the doctoral level (BCBA-D) and New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst.
Ann Giralico-Pearlman is an instructional design specialist for the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CELT) and an adjunct faculty member at The College at Brockport. As instructional designer, Ms. Giralico-Pearlman works with faculty and staff to develop or redesign courses for online, hybrid, and media enhanced instruction. She focuses on best-practice pedagogy and andragogy models, creating social interaction in virtual enviroments, and developing effective course delivery and assessments measures. She also teaches an undergraduate course, Introduction to Video and Audio, for the Department of Communication and a graduate level course, Classroom Technology, for the Department of Education and Human Development.
