Abstract
This proposal seeks to change the wording of the diversity student learning outcome (D-coded courses) in order to 1) align the general education curriculum pertaining to diversity with Brockport's mission and strategic plan (Building a Better Brockport), the Strategic Plan for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (2016-2021), and Brockport's Institutional Student Learning Outcomes and 2) to make the learning outcome more specific in order to improve faculty understanding of the outcome and their ability to assess it.
