Abstract
The proposed program would create an accelerated pathway for undergraduate students to complete graduate credits in the Department of Counselor Education (EDC) while earning their undergraduate degree in Addictions and Behavioral Health (ABH) in the Department of Healthcare Studies (HCS). This will have positive implications for recruitment and enrollment as students interested in counseling careers will be more likely to discover and consider SUNY Brockport for both their undergraduate and graduate education. Additionally, undergraduate students will be more likely to continue at SUNY Brockport for their graduate education rather than transitioning to other institutions to complete their master's education.
