The Department of Chemistry is proposing to launch a new M.S. in Chemistry. To add value and distinctiveness to this offering, biochemistry is included under the umbrella of chemistry. Following the review of comparable programs at several national institutions, we propose to offer an attractive and competitive program that will attract local, regional, national and international students to Brockport. By enhancing the graduate program offerings at Brockport, this proposal supports the mission of increasing campus enrollment and retention while training students for high quality, high demand STEM jobs.en_US
