Abstract
As we take a dive into the life of Kathleen Anne Iodice we gather a great illustration of the life of an Italian American growing up in the 1900s within the United States. Kathleen, Born and raised in New York in 1947 not only has given us a look into her own life, but her multiple siblings and close relatives as well. It all started with the travel of Kathleen’s Grandfather and his brother making his way to America by ship into Ellis Island. This quickly lead to the growth of a family including 25 children between the two brothers and the spouses. Extremely close and very church oriented, this family had no problem fitting into society at the time as many shared similar backgrounds growing up on Long Island, New York. The Family values illustrated throughout this interview, have truly shown to stuck with Kathleen as her hopes and dreams are nothing short of a happy and successful life for the large family she has raised in New York.
