    Abstract
A study was performed to determine if the original results of the Eastern black legged tick (Ixodes scapularis) in Chenango Valley State Park and the nature trails behind the SUNY Broome Community College (Broome County, NY) would match after being retested. This experiment aimed to determine the effectiveness of PCR when reexamining positive and negative results of Lyme disease.
