Abstract
The Department of Computing Sciences is proposing a new undergraduate minor in Cybersecurity. The minor will enable SUNY Brockport to meet the increasing demand for cybersecurity skill in the region. The minor consists of a subset of the courses from the Cybersecurity Major (Resolution 48_21-22UC and currently under review at SUNY) that will 1. Give students from a wide variety of majors, a foundation in this disciplinary area which will make them more cometitive in their respective careers, and 2> Set the path for new students to seamlessly transition to the new Cybersecurity Major.
