College Senate Support of University Designation for SUNY Brockport

Abstract

The Board of Trustees has resolved (September 21,2022) to authorize the Chancellor to take all necessary and appropriate actions to effectuate approval of a university designation for eligible SUNY institutions. According to the definition set by the Board of Regents (January 2022), SUNY Brockport meets this definition. The College Senate supports the change to university designation for SUNY Brockport.
