Open Space Stewardship Plan
Abstract
The following plan provides information regarding the preservation of a portion of campus of SUNY College at Old Westbury. This plan reviews existing natural and man the made resources, a historical perspective of the area, constraints and issues affecting the area, goals and objectives for future management, and a schedule of projects to fulfill these goals and objectives. The plan represents management objectives and not a work plan of commitments. Actual accomplishments are contingent on sufficient staff and funds to carry them out. The goals and needs presented in this Stewardship Plan provide a framework upon which funding decisions can be made.Collections

Teichm??ller Space of a Once Punctured Disk: Complex Coordinates on the Space of Abelian Differentials and the Takhtajan-Zograf Metric
Song, Ki Woo (The Graduate School, Stony Brook University: Stony Brook, NY., 1-May-12)We construct an embedding of T(Z), the Teichm??ller space of Z--a Fuchsian group with a single parabolic generator--into the space of abelian differentials on the Riemann surface M = Z \ H. This "pre-Bers embedding" is ... -
On the spectrum and Martin boundary of homogeneous spaces
Northshield, Sam (Statistics and Probability Letters, 1995)Given a conservative, spatially homogeneous Markov process X on an homogeneous spaces χ, we show that if the bottom of the spectrum of the generator of X is zero then the Martin boundary of contains a unique point fixed ...
