    Abstract
    Lyn Lifshin, in an interview recorded September 30th, 1977, reads her poems “Thaw,” “For a Friend,” “But Instead She has Gone into Woods,” and “Two Poem.” She talks about poetry’s ability to work out feelings and how the truth in her poems can affect her relationships, including those with her mother, father, and ex-husband.
