    Abstract
Over the years many of our rural cemeteries have fallen victim to Mother Nature, or worse, vandals. Annis Cemetery in Albion is one particular example where local residents gathered together to tame the overgrowth of briars, locust, and myrtle to restore the sanctity of the final resting place of Orleans County's pioneers.
