dc.description.abstractOne of the longest-tenured businesses in Orleans County, Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Homes, Inc., started as a small furniture manufacturing outfit operated by George M. Pullman at Albion. The business eventually entered the hands of Cassius M.C. Reynolds and William Flintham who sold furniture and provided embalming services out of their storefront on Main Street in Albion.
