Abstract
Cathy Appleby entered as an undergraduate student at Brockport in 1971. During her time as an undergrad, she worked in the mailing service, first in the work-study program then as a formal job. She majored in Psychology in the Elementary Education program. Upon graduating she matriculated into the MALS (Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies) graduate program. Throughout her career as a full time employee in Brockport's mailing service, she continued taking and auditing courses in various subjects. She also served on the alumni committee until the birth of her second child. As of 2019, she is retired and continues to tutor, and serves on Brockport's scholarship committee.
