Dual Degree Program in Nursing

Abstract

The Dual Degree Program in Nursing (1+2+1) allows students to earn two degrees within four years, and will guarantee 20 freshman nursing intents to take prerequisite courses at The College at Brockport, then begin and complete the Associate Degree in Nursing at either Monroe Community College (MCC) or Genesee Community College (GCC). The intense clinical education will therefore take place at MCC or GCC while the majority of the students’ gen ed and completion of the RN to BSN program will be completed at Brockport.
