Revision of Master of Arts degree in English
Abstract
Revision of the Master of Arts Program in English to better reflect the needs of the students. First proposed to lead into a PhD program (when it was thought that Brockport would become the 5th university center), now most students enter the program to become secondary school English teachers. Recommends dropping the second year foreign language requirement, and allowing students to take courses more suited to their future needs. Accepted by Interim President Ian H.
