Proposed modification on a newly created Political Science Master of Arts Urban Administration program. There are currently 2 programs offering Master's degrees in the department. One is aimed at students pursuing a Ph.D. and requires a thesis. The second program involved more coursework, and is designed for students already in a professional career, who are looking to advance in their field. With both of these options, the student is expected to develop competency in a primary and secondary field which currently includes American Political Systems, International Relations and Comparative Government, and Political Throught. The proposed revision would add a fourth option with a single concentration in Urban Administration. This option is intended to prepare individuals for managerial, research, or policy-making roles at different levels of government. Accepted by President Albert W. Brown - Effective 5/16/74Description
